Job Overview:

We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. This position involves managing warehouse operations and delivering product to customers. This position is a 'player / coach' position where 75% of your time will be working alongside the warehouse team while managing and overseeing staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the workflows in the warehouse including shipping, receiving and delivery
  • Utilize the warehouse management system to accurately track inventory and manage orders
  • Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts to load, unload, and move batteries
  • Pick orders according to customer specifications and package them for shipment
  • Build pallets and secure them for safe transportation
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties, including inspecting incoming shipments and verifying documentation
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed
  • Maintain safety and compliance records

Qualifications:

  • Ideally, a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a wholesale distribution environment.
  • Must be computer literate and knowledge of any ERP system would be an asset.
  • High level of commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and coworkers
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanour.
  • Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment.
  • Highly organized in prioritizing work and multi-tasking.
  • Strong problem solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Battery and solar experience would be an asset.
