**Warehouse Supervisor**

Our Warehouse Supervisor directs a staff of 7 supporting sales in B.C., USA and our branches across the country. The duties of the warehouse are picking, packing, receiving, storing of Stainless Steel and a range of steel fasteners. We also process material such as full thread studs. The Supervisor uses a hands-on approach leading a very productive team. This is a very busy warehouse, and we strive to provide an accurate efficient professional service to our customers and branch locations.

**Your role and responsibilities include**:

- Overseeing all inbound and outbound shipments
- Meeting the delivery requirements of our Sales Departments and Branch Transfers
- Verifying descriptions and quantities to limit errors
- Using our system for pallet rack storage and bin stocks
- Verifying inventory counts where required
- Supervise, coach and mentor shipping, receiving, processing and shipment checkers. Perform performance reviews
- Demonstrate leadership and work with your team providing guidance to ensure maximum productivity
- Keep your warehouse clean and organized
- Use Preventative Maintenance best practices to keep all equipment in good order
- provide a safe workplace environment
- Purchase of shipping supplies
- Maintain location charts

**Qualifications are as follows**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years in a supervisor position
- Forklift certification
- In good physical shape, able to lift 50 pounds
- Recent experience within a warehouse facility
- Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Comfortable learning new software (Adagio)
- Excellent interpersonal skills

**Job Type**
- Full time, 40 hours per week

**Salary**
- A generous salary is offered based on experience

Location: Units 2 and 3, 8118 North Fraser Way, Burnaby
