Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS if available
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising service quality
  • Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and dining spaces in accordance with health regulations
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; hospitality or food industry background is a plus
  • Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Ability to handle food safely and adhere to sanitation standards
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
  • Experience with food safety protocols and food handling procedures
  • Effective communication skills and a friendly demeanor
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed; previous restaurant experience is desirable but not mandatory
