Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations to uphold food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and manage any special requests or dietary restrictions.
  • Assist in training new team members on restaurant policies and procedures when necessary.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for processing payments accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus; commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness is essential.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with guests and team members effectively.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.55 per hour
