As a Line Cook/Prep Cook/Baker at Spilt Milk Cafe (formerly Dose Coffee) you will bring a positive attitude alongside excellent communication and organizational skills. After undergoing the required training, you will be capable and confident in preparing and executing a wide range of dishes and baked goods.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain proper food storage, handling and labelling
  • Maintain a clean and tidy section throughout the day
  • Ensure par levels are maintained and stock is rotated
  • Confidently follow recipes and prep lists
  • Keep food storage and kitchen areas clean and organised
  • Ensure that Food Safe practices are upheld
  • Guest satisfaction

Other information:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months food preparation/ kitchen experience

  • Extended days off and/or vacation will ideally be taken between the months of October - December and/or April - June
  • In this role you will report to the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager
  • Part-time position, 1-3 shifts per week with the potential to extend into full-time hours for the right candidate when the opportunity arises
  • Pay based on experience
