Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on, licensed 310T Mechanic to lead fleet maintenance operations across 7 depots, overseeing a fleet of 1,100+ pieces of equipment. This role involves both technical expertise and leadership, managing a team of 5 mechanics, and ensuring peak fleet performance, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of 5 mechanics across all locations.
  • Coordinate and schedule preventative and corrective maintenance across the fleet.
  • Ensure all vehicles and equipment meet regulatory compliance and safety standards.
  • Manage maintenance documentation, service records, and parts inventory.
  • Provide hands-on diagnostics and repair support when needed.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective parts and service sourcing.
  • Develop and implement maintenance best practices and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to minimize equipment downtime.

Requirements:

  • Valid 310T license – mandatory.
  • Minimum 10+ years of heavy truck/equipment maintenance experience.
  • Prior experience leading or supervising a maintenance team is a strong asset.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel between depots as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour

  • Fleet Maintenance: 8 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • 310T (required)
