Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Lead to oversee daily manufacturing operations on the production line. The ideal candidate will possess strong manufacturing knowledge, and leadership abilities to ensure efficient workflow, quality standards, and safety compliance. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team in a dynamic warehouse environment, utilizing various tools and equipment to meet production goals.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of assembly line workers to ensure production targets are met
  • Monitor manufacturing processes for quality, safety, and efficiency
  • Operate and maintain forklifts, power tools, and hand tools as needed for assembly and material handling
  • Conduct mechanical inspections and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly
  • Train new team members on safety procedures, equipment operation, and assembly techniques
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams for equipment repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Assist in inventory management within the warehouse setting
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes

Requirements

  • Proven experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environments
  • Warehouse experience preferred; forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Prior experience with warehouse safety protocols is desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
