The HR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This position is responsible for coordinating HR programs and processes, ensuring accurate employee data management, and providing exceptional support to employees.

Responsibilities

  • Review and maintain employee records to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational standards
  • Review and process all documentation related to employee onboarding, role changes, and offboarding activities
  • Coordinate and administer HR programs, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with company objectives
  • Oversee disability management processes, including documentation and case follow-up with benefit provider
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with employment legislation, regulations, and internal policies
  • Handle general HR inquiries, escalating complex issues as appropriate
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions to accurately reflect current roles and responsibilities
  • Assist with office administration tasks such as mail, supply ordering, and meeting coordination
  • Collaborate with payroll and other departments to ensure accurate and timely information sharing
  • Support recruitment activities, including job postings, interview coordination, and candidate communication, as required
  • Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and other initiatives as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Solid understanding of employment standards and HR best practices
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (Dayforce experience considered an asset)
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
