Pro-formance Intermodal Inc. is looking for professional and safety-oriented Class 1 single/ team driver for US to fill a full-time position, a year round work with a positive work environment and an equipment that is well-maintained by our inhouse mechanics.

Position Summary

Operates a semi truck that transports cargo to and from specified locations on time and according to schedule. Role involves adhering to all traffic and safety regulations, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensuring the timely delivery of cargo to its destination. This position offers steady reefer work year round.

Driver responsibilities include the following:

  • Deliver freight throughout the US & Canada.
  • Fill out electronic logs.
  • Take consignment of goods on behalf of the company.
  • Communicating with dispatchers & customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure freight is loaded correctly and strapped to prevent damage during transit.
  • Maintain accurate log book records and adhere to Hours of Service regulations
  • Must perform pre-trip & post-trip truck/trailer inspections
  • Follow company safety program expectation and adhere to Provincial & Federal transportation safety regulations
  • Positive attitude toward safety values
  • Respect company equipment and maintain cleanliness

Qualifications include:

  • Class 1 with current abstract
  • At least 1 year of commercial long haul highway and mountain experience
  • Are able to stay on the road for 2-3 weeks at a time.
  • Have previous border crossing experience.
  • Have previous winter and mountain driving experience
  • Communicate well with your colleagues.
