Do you have a Class 4 Drivers License or higher with commercial driving experience and are you looking for a steady part-time job, working 2-6 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon as a bus driver? KidzPen wants you on our team

We are looking for part-time drivers to ensure children are safely transported to and from our childcare centres. If you meet the position requirements and are willing to work before & after school transportation, this may be the opportunity for you to work with a passionate team at our organization.

*This position now qualifies for a Government Wage Enhancement Grant ($2.64-$8.62 premium/ hour) depending on your level of ECE certificate.

**Part-Time Hours**:Morning: 7:50 am - 9:00 am and 11:30 am -12:30 pm
Afternoon: 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm
*School days only, Monday to Friday, no weekends or summer months*

**What will you do?**

As a Bus Driver, you will transport children in our care to and from our childcare centre.
- Safely transport school-aged children using a company passenger vehicle
- Able to drive morning and afternoon shifts to neighbouring schools located 5-8mins away
- Communicate clearly with the centre management and staff
- Assist students in getting on and off the vehicle
- Obey traffic laws at all time
- Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and safe
- Perform vehicle safety inspections before and after each route
- Other duties as required

**You will possess the following**:

- 1+ year of commercial driving experience. School bus driving experience is an asset
- Ability to follow instructions and obey traffic laws
- Attention to detail and safety is a priority of yours

**Qualifications**:

- Class 4 Full License (non-GDL) with commercial passenger experience
- Able to provide Clean Commercial Driver's Abstract
- Able to provide a Criminal Record with a Vulnerable Sector Check
- Part-time hours: 20 hours per week

Alberta Child Care Certificate would also be good to have as you can get additional funds from the Government.
