Select Drywall & Acoustics is a well established drywall contractor located in Vaughan Ontario, specializing in the Commercial, ICI and residential sectors of the building industry. We are looking for a full time construction estimator to join our growing team of estimators, we offer a competitive salary and opportunity for advanced professional development.

Responsibilities and Duties:

-Review and analyze construction documents

-Provide clear detailed quantity take-offs

-Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates and proposals in a timely manner for stipulated price, design build and construction project management formatted projects

-Organize suppliers' and subcontractors' quotation to ensure quotes meet contract documents

-Maintain and manage active files and identify any potential risks

-Estimate project changes

-Communicate with suppliers, subcontractors, architects, engineers and clients

-Monitor progress by collecting and analyzing data against budget reports

-Formulate cost breakdowns from estimates and for project progress

Qualifications and Requirements:

-1 to 2 years of proven experience as a construction estimator is an asset

-Excellent understanding of construction drawings and specifications

-Excellent communication abilities

-Well organized and great attention to detail

-Experience with estimating software and spreadsheet design

-Works well under pressure

-Graduate from a recognized architectural, engineering or project management program is an asset

-CEC or PQS designation is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Experience:
