Job Summary:
**Duties**:

- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
- Prepare detailed cost estimates using industry-standard software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam
- Research and obtain pricing for materials, equipment, and labor
- Build relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing
- Negotiate pricing with vendors to achieve cost savings
- Review project budgets and make recommendations for cost reductions or value engineering options
- Present estimates to clients and participate in bid meetings
- Track and maintain accurate records of all estimates, proposals, and related documentation

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and other technical documents
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
