About the Role

We're looking for a strategic and dynamic Director, Marketing & Recruitment to lead the launch and growth of Western International College (WesternIC), a new partnership within the University Partnerships North America (UPNA) division of Navitas, at Western University in London, Ontario.

In this role, you'll shape and execute marketing and recruitment strategies that drive international student enrollment across both undergraduate and graduate programs. You'll also play a key role in building WesternIC's brand presence in key global markets, managing relationships with our university partner, and leading a talented marketing team to deliver exceptional results.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Marketing & Recruitment: Develop and execute marketing campaigns and recruitment strategies to meet annual enrollment targets, with a strong focus on both undergraduate and graduate programs.
  • Graduate-Level Focus: Lead initiatives tailored to graduate student recruitment, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and market demand.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor college marketing teams, fostering collaboration and performance excellence.
  • Budget Oversight: Develop and manage the business unit's marketing and recruitment budget.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with university partners and internal teams.
  • Pipeline Management: Design and implement effective recruitment pipelines and forecasting tools.
  • Global Collaboration: Coordinate with offshore offices to ensure consistent messaging and value proposition delivery.
  • Market Development: Identify and support growth in new and existing markets, including direct involvement in key regions.

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
  • Proven success in student recruitment and marketing, ideally in post-secondary education
  • Experience recruiting for graduate-level programs
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities
  • Experience managing budgets and leading teams
  • Experience in pipeline management and understanding of target setting
  • Ability to travel extensively (domestic and international)
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Proficiency in a second language
  • International recruitment experience
