Reporting to the Program Manager, the Project Coordinator will provide coordination and administrative support to utility construction projects. This role plays a key part in ensuring project documentation, tracking, and communication are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle.
What You'll Do Here:
Support the Project Manager with on-site construction activities and overall project coordinationPrepare, organize, and maintain complete and accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycleSet up project folders, templates, and required documentation during project start-upMaintain and manage project folders and records on the shared server and document control systemsTrack, log, and manage project documentation, including RFIs, reports, and correspondenceEnsure drawing and report folders are current and distribute updates as requiredAssist with the preparation, tracking, and administration of change notices and subsequent change ordersSchedule, attend, and document minutes for project meetings and conference callsGenerate, log, and track Requests for Information (RFIs) and follow up as requiredPrepare Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals and Quality Assurance documentation for internal review and client submissionTrack and report site hours worked by employees in accordance with EPSCA and project-specific reporting requirementsEnsure compliance with all company policies, procedures, standards, and safe work practicesWhat You Bring to the Team:
Technical college diploma, engineering degree, or a combination of technical training and relevant industry experienceThree or more years of experience in the civil or electrical utility sector is preferredSolid understanding of estimating, project forecasting, and change management principlesExperience with project planning, scheduling, and resource balancing across projects of varying size and complexityProven ability to resolve project issues with minimal supervisionStrong collaboration skills with the ability to foster cooperation across departments and teamsComfortable working in both office and field or site environmentsStrong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Project Experience with Hard Dollar and SAP is considered an assetHighly self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to work independently, accurately, and effectively under pressureComfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentSalary: The expected salary for this position is $50, ,000
Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience and unique skills.
