About the Role

We're seeking a driven, detail-oriented Inbound Sales & Family Service Advisor to manage the steady flow of inbound leads generated by our growing marketing campaigns. The heart of this role is consistent, structured follow-up — ensuring every inquiry is contacted quickly, guided through the process, and supported with care and professionalism using our CRM system (Pipedrive). Your ability to stay on top of each lead, maintain communication, and move families smoothly through the sales process is key to success in this position.

In this role, you'll also meet with families, provide tours of our grounds, and help them choose the right options for their needs — seeing each relationship through from first contact to closing. While the majority of your time will focus on inbound leads, a small amount of outbound sales activity is also expected. These efforts are supported by established strategies, team collaboration, and clear processes.

You will take part in a weekly sales meeting to review outreach performance, lead quality, and opportunities for improvement. We also place strong importance on close collaboration with our marketing team, ensuring alignment between campaigns, messaging, and on-the-ground feedback. Your insights and feedback on sales processes, strategies, and lead performance will play an active role in improving how we engage with families and communities over time.

Key Responsibilities

· Build relationships with families. Take time to understand their needs, listen with empathy, and create trust before moving into any sales discussion.

· Manage and follow up on inbound leads generated from our website, social media, and marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent, structured communication through our CRM (Pipedrive).

· Nurture both new and historical leads — maintaining long-term communication with families who have previously expressed interest, keeping them engaged until they're ready to move forward.

· Keep detailed notes in the CRM for every interaction, documenting conversations, family needs, and next steps to ensure smooth handoffs and complete visibility for the whole team.

· Guide families through their decision-making process — explaining Bakerview's unique advantages, available options, and compassionate approach without a hard sell.

· Conduct on-site meetings and guided tours of the cemetery grounds, helping families feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their choices.

· Close sales with professionalism and care, ensuring all documentation, CRM entries, and payment details are handled accurately and respectfully.

· Perform light outbound sales activities as guided by existing strategies, focusing on warm leads or re-engagement opportunities where additional outreach adds value.

· Collaborate closely with the marketing team to share feedback on lead quality, campaign performance, and family insights that can improve messaging and targeting.

· Provide ongoing feedback on sales processes and strategies, helping refine our team's approach and improve efficiency as Bakerview's sales department continues to grow.

· Participate in weekly sales meetings to review performance, lead progress, and collaborative improvement opportunities.

· Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented environment, assisting colleagues when needed and sharing best practices that strengthen collective results.

What We're Looking For

· Industry Experience: Previous experience in the funeral, cemetery, or memorial services industry is highly valued. Candidates with related experience in other service-oriented fields (real estate, healthcare, or family services) will also be considered.

· Sales & CRM Background: Proven experience in sales, customer relations, or lead management roles, ideally using Pipedrive or similar CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).

· Relationship-Focused Communicator: Naturally builds trust and connection with families; understands that success comes from genuine care and long-term relationships, not high-pressure selling.

· CRM Discipline: Consistently tracks all interactions, follow-ups, and notes within the CRM to maintain accuracy, visibility, and team alignment.

· Organized & Detail-Oriented: Handles multiple ongoing conversations and ensures every family's journey is carefully documented and followed through.

· Proactive & Consistent: Recognizes the importance of steady, timely follow-ups with both new and historical leads.

· Collaborative Mindset: Works closely with the marketing and sales teams, sharing feedback and insights that improve lead quality, messaging, and results.
