Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of industrial equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise and problem-solving skills are highly valued. The Equipment Mechanic will play a critical part in minimizing downtime and supporting the overall efficiency of our operations.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques
- Repair or replace faulty components, including belts, gears, motors, compressor, and hydraulic systems
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing machinery
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems promptly to minimize equipment downtime
Skills
- Assembly of industrial machinery and processing lines
- Basic pneumatic controlled devices
- Basic drive elements ( AC and DC motors, motor controls, bearings, gear reducers)
- Maintenance, operation, trouble shooting mostly conveyors.
- Some fabrication skill.
- Can drive forklift.
This position requires a proactive approach to maintenance with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality. Its a permanent full time position, hours indicated is only for reference. We value candidates who are committed to continuous improvement and possess a strong work ethic.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
