Assistant Selling Manager – Maie

As an Assistant Selling Manager at Maie, your primary role is to lead through top-tier personal selling. You set the pace for the store—engaging customers, driving conversion, maximizing every interaction, and showing the team how strong selling behaviors translate into real results. Through confident leadership and consistent personal performance, you elevate both the customer experience and the overall store business.

Your Responsibilities

  • Grow the business through exceptional customer service, strong personal sales, and the development of a loyal clientele base.
  • Achieving top personal sales by modeling effective floor leadership, strong selling techniques, and meaningful customer connections grounded in confident product knowledge.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of clienteling and implement effective clienteling strategies.
  • Build and maintain a clear, easy-to-follow clientele program for the team to use consistently.
  • Monitor KPIs (UPT, conversion, AOV) daily and use them to drive strong personal performance and team improvement.
  • Recruit, train, and develop talented individuals, leading to high retention of key staff.
  • Motivate your team to deliver elevated service that builds long-term customer relationships.
  • Model expectations in selling, service, and professionalism—and hold others accountable.
  • Use all store systems effectively to maximize efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintain operational excellence and ensure all Maie policies and procedures are followed.

Your Prerequisites

  • 2+ years of management or leadership experience in retail.
  • A strong sales background and a genuine passion for customer service.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to support both customers and a team environment.
  • A love for fashion and an eye for product.
  • A leader with the ability to train, motivate, and inspire others.
  • Strong organization, time management, and follow-through skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
