  • Manage engineering deliverables related to product deployment, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Drive the transition from R&D to scalable project execution, supporting the commercialization of clean energy systems.
  • Oversee third-party contractors and vendors involved in the build and integration of critical systems.
  • Monitor project budgets and report progress and variances to internal leadership.
  • Establish KPIs and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes.
  • Collaborate with leadership to embed a culture of accountability, safety, and innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or other relevant Engineering discipline (required).
  • Master's Degree in Engineering or Management (preferred)
  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in engineering and project management, preferably within clean tech, energy, process industries, or advanced manufacturing.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing complex engineering projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in commercializing new technologies or products is highly preferred.
  • Background in customer-facing roles, whether business development or technical project management, is a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with methodologies such as Six Sigma, Concurrent Engineering, or Integrated Product Development is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of early-stage company environments and the ability to thrive amidst ambiguity and growth.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong technical judgment and business acumen.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop processes, establish priorities, and drive accountability.
  • A natural leader who can build trust, energize teams, and create clarity in fast-paced settings.
  • Financial literacy to manage large budgets and assess performance metrics.
