Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role located in Coquitlam, BC. The Patient Care Coordinator / Medical Office Assistant (MOA) will manage daily clinic operations, including scheduling appointments, handling inbound and outbound calls, and coordinating patient care. The individual will ensure the smooth running of the office by maintaining accurate medical records, managing administrative tasks, and providing excellent support to patients and staff. Additionally, the role will require knowledge of medical terminology to assist with care coordination and communication within the healthcare team.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Appointment Scheduling and Care Coordination
  • Proficiency in Phone Etiquette and effective communication with patients and team members
  • Familiarity with Medical Terminology and administrative functions in a healthcare setting
  • Commitment to Patient Care and delivering a positive experience
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare or wellness environment is an asset
  • Proficiency in using office software and Janeapp is preferred
