Downhole Tool Service Technician

We are a well-established oilfield service company based in North Nisku. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Downhole Service Technician with hands-on experience in servicing a variety of downhole drilling tools, including drilling motors and related equipment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and committed to delivering high-performance results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, inspect, assemble, and maintain downhole drilling tools such as drilling motors, stabilizers, and other BHA components.
  • Operate a breakout machine, forklift, and overhead crane in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Ensure all tools meet performance and safety standards prior to field deployment.
  • Accurately document service reports, tool inspections, and maintenance records.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and job completion.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to company safety policies.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with downhole drilling tools and motors.
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime and be on-call as needed.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and performance.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy parts and tools up to 50lbs
  • Dependable, punctual, and seeking long-term employment

Compensation dependent on experience
