Job Overview

Logic NDT Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Level 2 Inspector for our Nisku, AB division. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing, developing, and maintaining proper NDT inspections, Shot Peening services, and shipping/receiving practices in accordance with company standards. The inspector will also be cross-trained in other services that Logic NDT provides.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Complete inspections of tools and digital reports required by customers under the direction of the supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Maintain all equipment owned by Logic NDT Solutions Ltd.
  • Complete repairs of downhole drilling tools as per Logic SOPs.
  • Complete all required documentation with detail and accuracy.
  • Pick, ship, and receive various types of equipment based on customer requirements.
  • Perform Shot Peening services as required by the customer under the direction of the supervisor.
  • Complete daily hazard assessments at work locations.
  • Be available for on-call shifts as per the schedule set by the supervisor.
  • Follow all safety requirements and those set by customers when working at their facilities.
  • Cross-train in and provide support for other services offered by the company.

Qualification Requirements

  • Experience inspecting BHA, drilling tools, and mud motors.
  • Successful completion of a vision acuity test.
  • Successful completion of the color blindness test.
  • Successful completion of ASNT level 2 PT and MT certification.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and/or crane as required by location.
  • Ability to complete API RP7G-2/ Spec 7-1 / Spec 7-2 / DS1 inspection.
  • Class 5 Driver's license.

  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with Logic NDT standards.
  • Ability to communicate clearly to staff and customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure, think clearly, and act decisively.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player who treats all fellow employees and customers with dignity and respect.
  • Always conduct yourself in a professional manner while representing Logic NDT.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$31.00 per hour
