Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced mechanics to utilize their technical expertise and provide exceptional service to our customers. The position requires hands-on work with various automotive systems, ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and meet industry standards.

Duties

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including engine, transmission, brake systems, and electrical components.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and schematics to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
  • Weld and perform assembly tasks as needed for vehicle repairs or modifications.
  • Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures, including heavy lifting and working with heavy equipment.
  • Interpret technical manuals and schematics to accurately diagnose problems and implement solutions.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs, timelines, and maintenance recommendations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in automotive repair, preferably within a dealership environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of routine tasks.
  • Welding skills are highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Experience with automotive assembly and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Prior mechanic experience is preferred; dealership experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality standards. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 80 per week
