The Business Systems Analyst requires participating in a variety of projects, in various roles, to assist with evaluating, procuring, implementing, and supporting new technologies that enhance patient experience.  Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into system requirements, analyze current workflows and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience. Work closely with third-party vendors to manage service contracts, upgrades, and support requests. Ensure vendor compliance with hospital IT policies and standards.  Prepare/update training and reference manuals and other support material.

• Information Technology Degree or Diploma or equivalent education/work experience
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a business analyst or systems analyst role
• Knowledge of patient entertainment systems in a hospital setting an asset
• Knowledge of MEDITECH Expanse an asset 
• Excellent communication/business analysis/problem solving/root cause analysis skills
• Experienced in implementing/supporting wide variety of systems/applications, workflow analysis, and benefits maximization
• Previous experience in system upgrades; software installations and system rebuild
• Knowledge of hardware and software procurement processes in hospital operations an asset
• Knowledge of SharePoint Online including Power Apps and Power Automate an asset
• Facilitate technical discussions with teams, vendors, business users, and stakeholders.
• Leads small to medium projects, coordinating with stakeholders throughout the organization to understand and achieve collaborative solutions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office product line including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
• Able to handle multiple responsibilities with competing priorities in a fast-paced progressive environment
• Must be well-organized, self-directed, and be able to interact patiently and effectively with staff
• Must be physically able to do the job
• Satisfactory employment and attendance record required

Hours:  Monday to Friday; Days ; on-site, multi-site coverage required.

Salary: $ $54.615 per hour
