Business Development Manager (Franchising)
The Vape is expanding across Canada through a franchise model, and we're looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead franchise growth from lead generation to deal close.
What You'll Do
- Manage full franchise sales pipeline (lead-gen → qualification → discovery → closing).
- Build a strong candidate pipeline.
- Run discovery calls, presentations, territory checks, and candidate follow-ups.
- Attend trade shows and business events to generate new leads.
- Maintain CRM accuracy and move candidates through the process with speed.
- Represent the The Vape brand and create excitement about franchise ownership.
What You Bring
- 2+ years in franchise development, B2B sales, or retail expansion.
- Strong closing skills and proven success with high-value deals.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple candidates at once.
- Comfortable with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social platforms.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience in retail, vape, cannabis, or regulated industries.
- Knowledge of Canadian franchising regulations.
