Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimator located in Brampton, ON. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects. The Estimator will also be responsible for negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers and ensuring that estimates align with project goals and budgets.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency in computer software programs such as Excel and construction estimating software
  • Experience in the sewer and watermain construction industry and experience estimating sewer and watermain
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
