Santec Canada is looking to add a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to the team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for all incoming and outgoing shipments.

Responsibilities

  • Pack and ship customer orders
  • Ensure outgoing shipments meet customer specifications
  • Prepare shipment paperwork
  • Contact carrier representative to arrange pick-ups
  • Receive material as per company procedure
  • Update internal order schedule
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Assist production team with various assembly tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

  • Highschool diploma
  • 1-2 years of international shipping experience
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and flexibility
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Time management skills
  • Computer skills in MS Word and Excel
