Summit Veterinary Pharmacy is currently looking for a Shipping Clerk to fill one full-time vacancy in our busy Shipping and Receiving Department team.

Located in Aurora, Ontario, Summit has been supplying prescription compounded medications to veterinary clinics across Canada for over 20 years. Our mission is to set the standard for excellence in veterinary compounding; enabling veterinarians to fulfill their commitment to their clients' health and well-being.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Print the invoice for each order and verify for accuracy
  • Place all incomplete orders on the shelf in alphabetical order
  • Verify any special requests (i.e., pick up, hold etc.)
  • Consolidate orders whenever possible, indicating all back orders or delete as required
  • Create shipping label using FedEx system
  • Verify all of the information on the FedEx slip corresponds to the information on the invoice
  • Pack orders for shipping
  • Post the invoices in the computer system
  • Ensure there is an adequate supply of materials
  • Complete all end of day closing procedures
  • Follow up with client concerns regarding shipping issues
  • Receive shipments and direct them to the appropriate personnel
  • Maintain general cleanliness of the area
  • Perform all other duties as required by management

  • Previous shipping experience is preferred

Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Friday 10:00am to 6:30pm
  • May be required to work additional hours

Educational Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
