We're growing quickly and are looking for a driven Sales Development Representative to help us expand our reach through Roam's cutting-edge fleet management software platform.

The Role

As an SDR at Roam, you'll be on the front lines of our growth—reaching out to potential clients, introducing them to Roam's fleet technology, and qualifying opportunities for our sales team.

You'll use our fleet management software as a powerful lead magnet to start conversations with businesses, helping them discover how real-time reporting, cost insights, and data-driven fleet optimization can save time and money.

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives on connecting with people, uncovering problems, and sparking interest in solutions that make a real operational impact.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect and qualify leads through cold calls, email outreach, and LinkedIn engagement.
  • Promote Roam's fleet management software as a way for businesses to track, manage, and optimize their vehicle operations.
  • Book discovery calls and demos for our Account Executives.
  • Identify fleet pain points—like maintenance costs, downtime, or utilization gaps—and align them with Roam's solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales to refine messaging and campaigns.
  • Keep your pipeline clean and data accurate in the CRM.
  • Stay informed about fleet trends, new vehicle technologies, and competitors.

What You Bring

  • 1–2+ years of outbound sales or business development experience (B2B preferred).
  • Experience in SaaS, automotive, or fleet management is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven success with outreach, qualification, and appointment-setting.
  • Self-starter mentality with strong organization and follow-through.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's licence and clean driving record.
  • OMVIC certification (or willingness to obtain it).

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
