Winch Truck Driver

ENTREC Alberta, a diversified trucking company (acquired by LAPRAIRIE Group of Companies), is currently recruiting for a full-time Winch Truck Operator to join its team in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Responsibilities:
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Operate a Winch Truck to winch load and unload equipment as required.
- Haul Customer Commodities with various multi-axle trailer configurations.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and complete daily inspection reports.
- Adhere to Hours of Service and Logbook Regulations.
- Adhere to daily schedules set out by Dispatch & Supervisors.
- Complete daily paperwork / reporting accurately and on time.
- Promote ENTREC's safety culture and adhere to HSE policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck.
- Report all equipment repairs and maintenance requests to the Shop lead and Dispatch.
Skills and Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Commercial Driver's License.
- 3-5 years on/off highway driving experience.
- Must have equipment hauling experience.
- Must have winch truck operating experience.
- Bed Truck Operator and Picker Truck Operator experience would be considered an asset.
- Must have experience pulling 32-to-48-wheel Trailer configurations.
- Availability to work rotational shifts, including days and nights.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Solid communication skills and ability to work in a team setting and alone as required.
- Ability to navigate work sites and adapt to daily changes in scopes of work.
- Acceptable drivers abstract (5 years minimum).
