Major Tasks:

• Assist in managing our principal market making book, monitoring our intraday trading positions and evaluate overall profitability/risk of our strategies and trades in real-time
• Strategy development and research using in house tick database and OneTick along with python
• Daily tasks to start the automated strategies. These tasks include checking whether daily tasks have ran properly. All the tasks are written in python. There is occasional modification and enhancements to these.
• Tasks related to large amounts of tick data, specifically dealing with contextualizing market data/events to optimize entry/exit opportunities

Job Requirements:

• A degree in either Computer Science, Engineering, or Math
• Must have strong experience with Python, Javascript, SQL, MongoDB, VBA, C# .NET, HTML, and experience creating REST APIs
• Possesses a positive attitude, curiosity, willingness to learn, and the ability to perform in multidisciplinary teams and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced trading floor environment
• Demonstrates interest in the financial markets and derivative products
• Ability to take initiative and work independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), as well as use of Tableau and Alteryx
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong self-confidence and fortitude in an open working environment and an ability to present and defend a view both to a technical audience and in a layperson's terms
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and academic record
• Interest in developing sales, presentation and negotiating skills
