Role Overview:

The IT Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by leading the sales strategy and execution for IT products and services. This role involves managing a team of sales professionals, developing client relationships, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the IT sales team to ensure high performance.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships.
  • Collaborate with product and technical teams to align solutions with client requirements.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with enterprise clients.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in IT sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of IT solutions, including cloud services, cybersecurity, and enterprise software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CRM tools
  • Familiarity with B2B sales cycles and enterprise procurement processes.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
