Ace Brewing Company strives on maintaining a clean, comfortable, inviting atmosphere, for everyone to experience. We are looking for a Front of House Manager to assist us with our day-to-day business, including staff leadership, positive guest experience and ongoing events.

Your duties, but not limited to the following

-Working to achieve the highest level of customer service

-Managing Front of House Staff and overseeing day to day operations

-Bartending, serving, assisting/mingling with customers

-Hiring, train and supervise staff

-Create consistent, positive customer experiences

-Opening and closing of the Taproom are done accurately and proficiently

-Address inquiries, conflicts, complaints and feedback from customers and staff members

-Ensuring cleaning duties are regularly being completed and properly, inside Taproom, Patios and Game Room

-Distributing Tips and maintaining tip float/event float

-Assisting with events ideas to draw in customers, working events, communicating with performers and coordinators

-Staff reviews & teach outs

-Maintain stock levels in Front of House including merchandise for retail sale, beverages, snacks, supplies etc... assisting in ordering supplies/merchandise when necessary

-Taking pictures, scheduling/posting on social media

-Creating event posters

-Attending weekly manager meetings and meeting management on a regular basis

-Scheduling Front of House staff

-Food and Beverage Menu management/quality control

-Systems management, POS management

Requirements and Qualifications

-Interested in long term growth within the business

-Experience with management/leadership roles

-Serving it Right certification

-Leading by example

-Proficiency with Point of Sale systems and computer programs

-Ability to work independently, as well as lead/manage, and motivate a team

-Being flexible, working days, weekends, evenings and holidays in Manager/Bartending roles, attending events etc…

-Able to keep up with a fast pace, requiring time management

-Solid understanding of business management practices and strategies, assisting profitability of the Brewery

-Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic

-Craft Beer knowledge is an asset

This position has a starting wage of between $21-$25hr, very good tips, health spending account of $1,000 a year after 3 months.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
