Provides administrative support to the Hospital to Home team and patients including the Clinical Manager ,and others as required within the Program. The Administrative Assistant supports the Clinical Managers to efficiently and effectively lead their teams. The Administrative Assistant has the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, maintain confidences while balancing multiple priorities including payroll/recruitment, managing calendars, coordinating meetings/events, preparing various materials and documents, attending meetings and recording minutes, monitoring action items and developing related reports.

The Administrative Assistant serves as a liaison to the Clinical Managers to keep them well informed of upcoming

commitments and responsibilities. Integral to providing information and clear communication relative to services, staff,

projects and issues within the Clinical Managers portfolios. This role requires excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with managers, staff, patients, health care providers, other administrative assistants and the general public, ensuring strict confidentiality is maintained at all times.

1. Graduate of Community College Business Office Administration program or equivalent
2. Minimum 3-5 years current related experience
3. Demonstrated proficient computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets and database systems, for example: MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Windows 2000, Outlook, 4. Excellent working knowledge of EPIC, Taleo, Kronos, Budget Tool, Management Resource Tool, Eway, Electronic Forms Ordering
5. Proficient keyboarding skills (60 w.p.m.)
6. Demonstrated expertise in minute-taking, transcription and ability in scheduling
7. Demonstrated excellence in effective communication and interpersonal skills within a professional environment
8. Demonstrated effective problem-solving abilities
9. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
10. Ability to work on own initiative, organize and establish priorities and able to work in high volume, stressful environment
11. Demonstrated understanding of the corporate context, and ability to make suggestions and create systems which will assist the Program within this context
12. Demonstrated commitment to the HHS vision and continuous quality improvement
13. Demonstrated ability to appreciate confidential nature of position
14. Demonstrated interest in new learning
