Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior QA Specialist with strong experience in Guidewire, Digital, and Mainframe functional testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Testing: Utilize digital portals to perform testing on insurance applications, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.
  • Guidewire Expertise: Use Guidewire software to perform testing on insurance applications, ensuring compliance with business and technical requirements.
  • Legacy Expertise: Perform testing on insurance applications through legacy Mainframe UI systems.
  • Analysis & Reporting: Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide detailed reports with recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, scripts, results, and recommendations; manage JIRA QE boards effectively.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5–10 years of experience in Guidewire, Digital, and Mainframe testing, with a focus on personal and commercial insurance applications.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Guidewire functional testing
  • Proficiency in Digital functional testing
  • Experience in Mainframe testing

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based environments and testing
  • Certification in Guidewire, Digital, or Mainframe testing (or related areas)
  • Knowledge of insurance industry standards and regulations

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 10 months

Pay: $65.00-$70.00 per hour
