Job Summary (Guidewire Claims Tester)

  • Perform testing on insurance applications using Guidewire software to ensure alignment with business and technical requirements.
  • Analyze test results, identify issues or bottlenecks, and provide detailed test reports with improvement recommendations.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and business teams to gather requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, scripts, results, and recommendations; manage JIRA QE boards.
  • Utilize expertise in Guidewire claims validation, and test both personal and commercial insurance applications (Guidewire PC, BC, CM).
  • Conduct mainframe testing and support digital insurance application testing.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaborative skills.
  • Ensure detailed attention to quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance in all testing processes.
  • Preferred: Experience with cloud-based environments, relevant certifications, and understanding of insurance industry standards and regulations.

Primary Skills
Guidewire Expertise:

  • Utilize Guidewire software to perform testing on insurance applications, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.

Analysis And Reporting

  • Analyse test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide detailed reports with recommendations for improvements.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with development, operations, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive testing coverage.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, scripts, results, and recommendations, also JIRA QE boards.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Guidewire, Digital and Mainframe testing, with a focus on personal and commercial insurance applications

Mainframe testing.
Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Guidewire claims validations.
  • Proficiency in personal and commercial insurance applications
  • Experience in Guidewire PC, BC and CM application

Soft Skills

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based environments and testing.
  • Certification in Guidewire, Digital and Mainframe testing or related areas.
  • Knowledge of insurance industry standards and regulations.
