Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. Must live in Highriver or live near and is willing to communute. To Blackie. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and monitor patients for any changes in health status.
  • Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
  • Support individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments through patience and understanding.
  • Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in the client's condition to appropriate personnel.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in caregiving roles such as assisted living, senior care, hospice care, or working with people with disabilities is preferred.
  • Knowledge of patient care techniques and familiarity with medication administration protocols.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
