About VoPay International Inc.
VoPay's Fintech-as-a-Service platform allows any business to embed financial services and payment capabilities into their existing applications, products or services through a single and scalable API. Our Integrated technology enables product managers and developers the flexibility and speed to build cutting-edge financial products.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Channel Partner Manager to join our Partnerships team and help expand VoPay's customer-focused payments platform. This role is responsible for sourcing, onboarding, and growing revenue-generating partner relationships across referral, reseller, and strategic alliance channels. You will work closely with product, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to enable partners, maximize adoption, resolve escalations quickly, and ensure our partners—and their customers—are fully supported and successful. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring strong relationship-building skills, operational rigour, and a passion for fintech innovation.
Partner Management & Expansion
  • Ensure partners and their customers needs are met through proactive engagement.
  • Regularly check in with partners to identify evolving requirements and recommend new products/services.
  • Oversee multiple partner accounts simultaneously, maximizing value for partners and their customers.
  • Monitor customer support tickets related to partner accounts, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
  • Resolve partner/customer escalations by identifying root causes and collaborating with technical teams for solutions.
  • Problem-solve and troubleshoot client issues with speed, empathy, and deliberation.
  • Promote and drive adoption of new VoPay products across the existing partner portfolio.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and performance assessments with partners.
  • Support the creation of partner documentation and enablement, ensuring partners have access to the most up-to-date product information and training.

Revenue Contribution & Pipeline Growth
  • Own revenue targets tied to referral, reseller, and alliance partnerships.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of partner-led opportunities, with accurate forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Sales on referred opportunities from partners.
  • Conduct detailed reporting and analysis on partnership health, adoption, and revenue performance.

Strategic Alliances & Ecosystem Development
  • Identify and build new strategic partnerships with acquirers, ERP/accounting providers (Oracle, NetSuite, Sage), and complementary fintech platforms.
  • Manage negotiations of business and technical terms in partner agreements.
  • Facilitate integration opportunities and ensure alignment with VoPay's product roadmap.
  • Conduct research on new markets, sectors, competitor channels, and industry trends to identify growth opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Marketing on co-branded campaigns, partner events, and joint demand generation activities.
  • Align with Compliance and Legal teams on partner due diligence, regulatory requirements, and agreements.
  • Collaborate with Product and Customer Success teams to support technical onboarding and downstream partner success.
  • Produce, organize, and maintain internal and external sales and marketing materials, including decks, case studies, and competitive intelligence.

Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in partnership management, channel sales, or client-facing roles in payments, SaaS, or fintech.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable delivering presentations and training sessions.
  • Strong understanding of fintech and payments, with experience delivering value through referral and reseller partner models.
  • Demonstrated success in managing revenue targets and scaling partnerships.
  • Skilled in relationship-building, able to engage and influence senior-level decision-makers.
  • Highly resourceful, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve escalations under pressure.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in pipeline management, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and HubSpot; advanced Excel skills are a plus.
  • Curious, growth-minded, and passionate about driving digital transformation through innovative payment solutions.
