Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, personable and multi-tasking Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work closely with physiotherapists to provide high-quality client care. The successful candidate should be able to work a morning shift a few days a week.

Responsibilities

- Assist physiotherapists with implementing treatment plans for patients; includes but is not limited to working with modalities(heat/ice/ultrasound/NMES), and assisting with exercises.

  • Taking client calls and booking clients within Jane Software.

  • Accepting payments from clients and or billing insurance providers.

  • Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Support the overall patient experience by providing empathetic care and encouragement.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in relevant area preferred; kinesiology student/background, previous work in medical clinic, and or general knowledge of clinic setup.

- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and support.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment

Hours currently in need; some evening and daytime shifts. Please let us know your availability and we may be able to work around it.
