Winnipeg, Canada St. Vital Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Centre Full time

Our team is seeking an experienced physiotherapy assistant for casual shift coverage. Regular hours/shifts will become available mid April (10-20 hours a week).

**Job Type**: Casual position Feb-April, regular hours available mid-April onwards

**Salary**: $13.50/hour

Schedule: Flexible availability an asset as shifts may vary at times to accommodate the needs of the clinic. Ex: Mornings. afternoons, evenings, and occasional Saturday.

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
- Certified Rehabilitation Aide an asset (not required)

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working in a physiotherapy clinic as a Physiotherapy Aide preferred with knowledge of physiotherapy management software (ie. Practice Perfect)
- Kinesiology students and those with an interest in Rehabilitation preferred
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, office administration, and reception are assets
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Strong ability to interact with other healthcare professionals, the clinical staff and the public is essential

**Responsibilities**:

- Greeting clients when they arrive and taking them to their treatment room
- Answering phones
- Scheduling appointments for clients face-to-face and over the phone
- Handling payments
- Various administrative tasks to support the Clinic Manager
- Disinfecting surfaces and equipment are always kept clean in compliance with COVID-19 protocols, including doing laundry
- Excel in customer service
- Be able to multi-task and prioritize
- Pay close attention to detail and work well under pressure
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have a basic computer proficiency (including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, and web browsing)
- Be physically able to walk and be on their feet for a good part of their shift

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 5-15 per week

**Salary**: $13.50-$14.10 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff and clients are required to wear masks in the clinic in accordance with Shared Health protocols. Hand hygiene and sanitization of equipment and surfaces done routinely.
