Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Architectural Technologist located in Calgary, AB. The role involves working on the technical aspects of residential projects, including creating and reviewing architectural, construction, and working drawings. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with building codes, collaborating with team members, and refining and finalizing technical designs. The Senior Architectural Technologist will play a key role in delivering high-quality, efficient project documentation and contributing to the success of residential developments.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Architectural Technology and experience in technical drawing
  • Proficiency in creating and interpreting working drawings and architectural drawings
  • Strong skills in developing and reviewing construction drawings
  • Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and residential construction methods
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is an asset
  • Post-secondary education in Architectural Technology or a related field
  • Experience in residential construction is strongly preferred
