About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join our team. This is a broad role combining hands-on technical production with BIM strategic application responsibilities, offering the opportunity to work on diverse projects while shaping our production delivery standards.

What You'll Do - Billable Primary Responsibilities

Project Development & Delivery

  • Develop detailed models in REVIT, working autonomously or leading teams of junior technologists and designers through the production process
  • Deliver comprehensive production drawing sets that meet the highest standards of accuracy and completeness
  • Provide technical support to Project Architects and Construction Administrators for coordination with sub-consultants and authorities having jurisdiction
  • Coordinate effectively with sub-consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle
  • Work within DMA standards and programs to develop complete construction drawing sets collaboratively
  • Ensure document accuracy and quality through comprehensive knowledge of building codes, building science, construction processes, and REVIT modeling best practices

Project Management

  • Understand and execute project goals as defined by clients
  • Work within established fee structures and resource allocations for each project
  • Manage and organize team tasks to efficiently meet project milestones, track time and resources and meet deadlines

Non-Billable Responsibilities

Production Strategist Performance Goals

  • Develop and maintain DMA+id standards that meet current graphic standards while enhancing parametric capabilities
  • Work with the BIM manager to strategize the most effective ways to structure and deliver high quality accurate documentation through the available software
  • Work with the Partners and Studio Manager to assign resources and determine new roles required for production

What We're Looking For

  • Senior-level experience as an Architectural Technologist with demonstrated expertise in REVIT and CAD
  • Strong understanding of building codes, building science, and construction processes
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex production workflows
  • Experience with LOD 500 level documentation
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative, particularly in REVIT development
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy
