Role Overview

We're searching for a Senior Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to take ownership of full-cycle accounting. Reporting to the Controller, this role blends structure with innovation - from month-end accuracy and reconciliations to process improvement, analytics, and system optimization. You'll work closely with finance leadership, operations, and sales to ensure ETI's financials are precise, timely, and insight-driven.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Month-End Close Own the full cycle of accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Deliver accurate and timely financial results that leadership can trust.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable Oversight Manage vendor and customer accounts with precision - ensuring invoices, payments, and collections flow smoothly. Help strengthen cash flow visibility and implement smarter processes.
  • Inventory & Cost Accounting Reconcile inventory and COGS with accuracy, ensuring financial data aligns with operational movement. Partner with operations to maintain accurate costing across all sales channels.
  • Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis Collaborate on financial forecasts and monthly reporting. Provide insights that improve profitability, efficiency, and cost management.
  • Process Improvement & Systems Drive automation and efficiency within accounting workflows. Support ERP (Dynamics 365) and BI (Power BI) integrations that elevate accuracy and speed.
  • Compliance & Controls Maintain internal control standards, assist with audit preparation, and ensure compliance across all financial documentation and procedures.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • CPA designation or CPA student in final stages (required)
  • 3–5 years of experience in full-cycle accounting
  • Experience in e-commerce or retail preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills (VBA/Macros, INDEX/MATCH)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Power BI for reporting
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Exposure to AI or automation tools for process improvement
