Job Summary
As a
"Parts Representative"
, you will work in the Parts/ receiving area and is responsible for order fulfillment and shipping of product by picking and pulling merchandise according to the load sheet and scheduling shipments while maintaining communication with our customers.

Job Duties

  • Pull parts or kit assemblies, package, label and/or complete bills of lading, determine method of delivery (i.e., FedEx etc.), calculate shipping cost, and complete all applicable paperwork
  • Stage pallets and/or load product into transportation vehicles ie, pallet jack/ forklift
  • Communicate information regarding parts shortages or backorders by notification to parts and receiving personnel
  • Monitor and complete "backorder" parts shipments as parts become available through receiving, manufacturing, or material transfers
  • Maintain stock of shipping supplies (i.e., federal manifests, shipping labels)
  • Comply with all applicable OHSA, ESA and other provincial regulatory laws, as well as company safety policies
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor or Senior Leadership team
  • Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of Shipping or warehouse experience, preferred
  • Ability to pass written and manual tests in order to obtain and retain a forklift operator license
  • Strong computer skills
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English
  • Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed
  • May be required to use Forklift, hand tools, saws or other machinery

Physical Requirements

  • Should be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time each day
  • Ability to lift light to medium weight up to 50 lbs.
  • DAY SHIFT AVAILABLE **

Hourly Wage: $ 19.50-$ 21.00 per hour based on experience
