The Senior Retail Marketing Manager is a key leadership role responsible for driving strategic planning, execution and optimization of all brand, retail and in-store marketing initiatives. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will oversee the Retail Marketing team and work closely with merchants, creative and agencies. You will ensure all marketing programs are aligned with the corporate marketing calendar and company goals. This role requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, retail acumen, people leadership, creative collaboration and operational excellence.
What you will do in this role:
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach and mentor the retail marketing team
- Foster a collaborative, high performance culture rooted in creativity, accountability and continuous improvement
- Oversee corporate marketing support including philanthropic initiatives like Fight to End Cancer, sponsorship requests and internal collateral
Retail Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute integrated retail marketing strategies that support store traffic, conversion, customer loyalty and brand visibility
- Create and maintain, in partnership with merchants and marketing team, the corporate marketing calendars for all divisions.
- Manage brand level promotions, campaigns, new store openings and local store marketing
- Ensure that directives, signage, windows, merchandising guidelines and store communications are accurate, impactful and delivered on time
- Review artwork and marketing communications for accuracy
Media, Creative and Vendor Management
- Oversee the planning of traditional media, print production and out of home advertising
- Manage and negotiate with agency partners, printers, production vendors and other external suppliers to ensure quality and value
- Review all artwork, marketing communications and visual materials for brand accuracy
Project & Budget Management
- Lead project tracking through , overseeing timelines, approvals and workback schedules
- Manage retail marketing budget (Traditional, In-store, CRM, Public Relations, Bridal Shows)

- You are a confident leader, able to guide and develop a multi-disciplinary team
- Excel in project management, with a talent for keeping complex initiatives moving
- Negotiate like a boss You enjoy sourcing and leading partnerships with vendors and are comfortable negotiating
- Don't like to wait You are proactive, organized & efficient
- Juggle as a side-hustle. You are organized and can balance multiple directives, identify and manage multiple projects – all at the same time.
- Could of been an author, with your strong copywriting skills
- Love data and digging into it. Analytics is your secret superpower
And your qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 8 years' experience in marketing and communication, with a minimum of 3 years in a retail or consumer facing environment
- Experience with executing Public Relations initiatives and/or working with PR agencies
- Strong understanding of retail operations, in store marketing and print production
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Proficiency with marketing tools and software (Adobe Suite, project management platforms, CRM tools)
