Next Up Marketing — a fast-growing social media marketing agency based in Vaughan — is looking for a Performance Marketing & Meta Ads Specialist with advanced technical expertise in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and cross-platform digital advertising. This role blends high-level media buying, creative production, and direct client communication, including calling warm leads and helping book sales meetings.
This is a fast-paced role suited for someone who has run ads across multiple industries and understands both the technical backend of ads and the front-end client acquisition process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Meta Ads Management (Primary Responsibility)
- Plan, launch, and optimize campaigns in Meta Ads Manager, including:
- Conversion campaigns
- Lead generation campaigns
- Retargeting funnels
- Custom & Lookalike Audience building
- Pixel/Conversions API setup
- A/B testing ads, placements, and bid strategies
- Interpret data from Ads Manager, Events Manager, and Meta Business Suite to drive decisions.
- Maintain strong ROAS, CPL, CTR, and CAC metrics.
Google & Multi-Platform Ads
- Manage campaigns on Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max, YouTube).
- Knowledge of:
- Keyword bidding
- Quality Score optimization
- Search term analysis
- Retargeting audiences
- Bonus: Experience with TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Snapchat Ads, or programmatic platforms.
Creative Strategy & Ad Production
- Develop compelling ad creatives (static, carousel, video concepts, hooks, scripts).
- Work with the content team to ensure ads align with brand goals.
- Analyze creative fatigue and recommend new creative angles, messaging, and formats.
Lead Calling, Client Communication & Sales Support
- Call inbound leads to:
- Qualify prospects
- Book meetings for the Next Up Marketing sales team
- Follow scripts and objection-handling frameworks
- Conduct follow-up calls to nurture warm leads.
- Assist in closing clients where needed.
Campaign Reporting & Analytics
- Build weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Break down KPIs clearly: ROAS, CPA, CPM, CTR, frequency, conversions.
- Provide optimization recommendations based on real data across all campaigns.
General Support & Additional Tasks
- Assist with smaller creative, administrative, and operational tasks within the agency.
- Coordinate with the content, editing, and operations teams.
- Help refine processes for ads, funnels, and lead management.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of hands-on experience running Meta ads across multiple niches (e.g., restaurants, beauty, real estate, e-commerce, fitness, professional services, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of Meta Pixel/Conversions API, Event Match Quality, and Business Manager structures.
- Strong understanding of Google Ads, keyword strategy, and analytics.
- Ability to analyze and interpret campaign data confidently.
- Strong communication skills — comfortable calling leads and speaking with clients.
- Creative mindset for ad angles, hooks, and content direction.
- Highly organized, reliable, and proactive.
