About the role:
This role focuses on managing the local warehouse operations, receiving of inbound goods, managing pick and pack for outbound orders, and the safe operations, storage, housekeeping and inventory accuracy of all items stored in the warehouse area.
What you will do:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Store, pick and pack materials, tools, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all items in the store and ensure that all items are properly labelled and stored.
- Ensure that all store areas are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Safely operate equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders and dispatch orders.
- Work with the procurement and production team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of PhotonAssay deployments and maintenance.
- Support the development of a strong workplace health and safety culture.
- Communicate and liaise with all internal customers to ensure excellence in customer service.
- Utilising existing or developing skills to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to a culture that values collaboration, technical excellence, and ongoing staff learning and development.
Who you are:
Essential
- Relevant experience working in a warehouse environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, plan and coordinate to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Permanent residency or citizenship (or equivalent working rights)
Desirable
- Experience using Netsuite, or similar Inventory or Warehouse Management Systems
- Experience working with Dangerous Goods
- A current LF forklift and driver's license
