Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Georgetown, ON, for the position of Transport Safety Manager. Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure regulatory compliance in all transport operations. The role involves conducting safety training programs, investigating incidents, identifying risks, and developing strategies to mitigate them. The Transport Safety Manager will work closely with teams to promote a culture of safety and drive the continuous improvement of safety practices within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Industrial Safety best practices
  • Proficiency in Safety Training and developing safety education programs
  • Experience with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) compliance and regulations
  • Skills in Accident Investigation and identifying root causes to implement corrective actions
  • Ability to create and enforce workplace safety policies and procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for training and team collaboration
  • Familiarity with transport safety standards and regulations in North America is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or certification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
