Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Georgetown, ON, for a Transport Manager. Responsibilities include overseeing daily transportation operations, managing logistics and fleet movements, coordinating with vendors and customers, and ensuring compliance with transportation regulations. The Transport Manager will also handle operational efficiency efforts, address customer service needs, monitor performance metrics, and manage cross-department collaborations to optimize delivery schedules and fleet usage.
Qualifications
- Experience in Transportation Management, Fleet Management, and Operations Management
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills
- Ability to handle logistics, compliance, and daily coordination effectively
- Proven proficiency in managing teams and achieving operational goals
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with fleet management software is an asset
