We are looking for a Manager, Business Continuity who will leverage an in-depth understanding of business continuity, crisis management, governance frameworks and operational risk management to lead a team of Business Continuity Analysts in the continuous improvement of Fundserv's Business Continuity Management System (BCMS).
In this role, you will…
- Manage the annual Business Continuity Management (BCM) program plan, including regular management alignment and reporting, and ensuring ongoing program compliance with ISO 22301
- Conduct risk assessments and business impact analysis (BIA) across critical business services, functions, and processes
- Develop training programs and awareness campaigns fostering a culture of preparedness and reinforcing the importance of operational resilience throughout the organization and in partnership with the investment fund industry
- Oversee an internal and external facing testing and exercise program ensuring planned response, communication, and recovery activities enhance Fundserv's preparedness and resilience
- Drive continuous improvement through regular reviews of continuity plans based on changes in the business environment, emerging threats, lessons learned from incidents, identification of non-conformity, corrective action plans and feedback from testing and exercising activities, ensuring the BCMS remains relevant, effective, and aligned with organizational objectives
- Develop and manage policies, procedures, plans, reports, and records related to business continuity ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance with regulatory and ISO 22301 requirements.
- Act as business continuity SME in support of Fundserv business and technology initiatives to achieve operational resilience objectives
- Create a challenging and rewarding work environment for the team that encourages open communication and trust and fosters employee engagement.
- Direct the daily operations of the team, including establishing priorities in line with the company's strategic priorities, developing and maintaining high standards of delivery, ensuring team's access to the tools and resources needed to perform their roles, and managing schedules and team workload.
Why you are the person we're looking for…
You've demonstrated the ability to do the following, gained through education and/or experience:
- Lead Business Continuity Management (BCM) practices in a financial technology services environment
- Operate a BCMS in compliance with ISO 22301 standards
- Apply in-depth knowledge of BCM practices, protocols, and governance frameworks, including standards promoted by ISO, DRII, and BCI
- Utilize strong analytical skills to effectively leverage data to support BCM program decisions and recommendations
- Possess a strong understanding of operational risk and resilience, business process improvement methods, and risk related control frameworks and practices (COCO, COSO, ISO, ITIL, CMM, COBIT, etc.)
- Interact confidently and build relationships with people leaders and management
- Highly driven, autonomous, resilient team player with a strong work ethic and proven track record of delivery
Fundserv will cover the cost of maintaining your business continuity designation from DRI or BCI such as ABCP, CBCP, AFBCI, MBCI
Starting base salary range: $125,000 - $138,000/year
Fundserv's total compensation package includes a competitive performance pay program, employer-paid group benefits, an RRSP matching program, and more.
