We are seeking a Construction Site Superintendent to join our team You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation of our residential projects in Edmonton area.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
  • Allocate resources for assigned projects
  • Review project plans and specifications to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors, coordinate and manage subcontractors and laborers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
  • Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
  • Ensure proper documentation of all project activities, including change orders and daily logs.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented

Skills

  • Background in supervising teams within a construction environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, including budgeting, estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail for quality control purposes.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and stakeholders at all levels.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
